Our Stages of Application Development:
STAGE 1: CONSULTATION
Free Consultation!
At this stage, we talk about your ideas and concepts, what you would like the application to do, and what features you would like to see incorporated into the application. We will then let you know if it is feasible and work up a basic quote to give you an idea of what is involved and what to expect. At the end of this stage, you will have an estimate of the cost and a time frame.
STAGE 2: FLOWCHARTING
At this stage, we work up a flowchart which demonstrates, in a logical and visual way, how your application will operate. We then review the flowchart with you to ensure we understand your idea of how the application should function. Once we have a mutual understanding of how the application should work, we begin the next stage which involves the actual coding of the project.
STAGE 3: FRAMEWORK
At this stage, we work on the basic functionality of the application, the code that makes your application "tick", which is usually referred to as the "Back End". For example, a Database is considered the Back End, and the form used to manipulate the contents of the database is considered the Front End.
STAGE 4: INTERFACE
At this stage, we work on the User Interface which is usually referred to as the "Front End" of the application.
STAGE 5: INTEGRATION
At this stage, we integrate the Front End with the Back End and end up with a fully functional application. It is at this point we present you with a fully functional product of which you can test and try out to ensure it is what you want.
STAGE 6: FINALIZATION
Once you approve the final product, we create an installer for the application and may even work up branded packaging if desired.
STAGE 7: PROMOTION (Optional)
Once your product/application is finished, we can also promote it by uploading it to various online software web sites such as download.com, and tucows.com.
